ROSS DRYBROUGH, BDS MFGDP (UK)
D Implant Dent RCS Eng.

Ross has been a dentist since 1992 after graduating from Newcastle University Dental Hospital. He initially worked in a hospital environment before entering general dental practice in 1994. In 1996, he gained his MFGDP (UK) qualification from the Faculty of General Dental Practice at The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He started to study implantology in 1999 and has attended many courses, both in the UK and Europe. Ross then went on to study and successfully complete the Diploma in Implant Dentistry which he was awarded in February 2006.

Ross has been selected to be a tutor, training and helping other dentists to develop their skills within implant dentistry, at the Royal College of Surgeons in London.

Choosing the right implantologist is difficult when you know little about the procedure. In the UK, anyone with a dental degree is qualified to place dental implants. There is no obligation to undertake any formal training in implantology of any kind. The General Dental Council Education Committee has recently and clearly stated that those who wish to offer implant treatment for their patients should be competent and appropriately trained.

Ross Drybrough has gained the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Faculty of General Dental Practice, of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. This additional qualification is currently considered to be the gold standard in postgraduate training in implant dentistry.

There are many dentists who can provide patients with implants but there are only a few who are trained to such a high level. Ross’s Implant qualification demonstrates his advanced level of training on bone grafting, tissue regeneration and detailed implant procedures. You can be assured that he will continue to maintain his current levels of expertise and further his knowledge. Ross is keen to help patients achieve the confidence they may have previously lost.

He takes great pride and professional satisfaction from providing outstanding clinical results at the end of treatment.
